Mod, if this isn't allowed let me know...

On September 11, I will be walking in Portland, Maine in memory of my father, Herbert Condriet, who committed suicide. I would like to take this time and ask if you would donate and support my walk to help raise money for programs to prevent suicide, educate and raise awareness about this VERY preventable loss. Please take a minute to visit the link below to help people, like me and my father.
Thank you! --- Jennifer (Condriet) Neumeyer

Every 18 minutes in the U.S., someone dies by suicide. This fall thousands of men and women will walk in over 40 communities across the United States, each contributing their voices to break the silence surrounding suicide. These men and women are the Out of the Darkness Community.

By supporting me as I walk in the 2005 Out of the Darkness Community Walks to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), you will be helping me raise money for AFSP's vital programs to prevent suicide and save lives, increase national awareness about depression and suicide, and assist survivors of suicide loss.

Sponsoring me is simple-- just click on the link at the bottom of this page and follow the prompts to make a donation.

Thank you!

I don't have any money.. I'm far past broke sadly.

However, I wanted to thank you for posting that. I am now registered for the Boston walk.

Also.. I wish you oodles of good luck, and thanks for what you're doing.
Even if it's not money...atleast you all are going out as well...
Indeed, eh?

I'm going to try to get someone to do it with me. Hopefully, someone will.
YOu can always come up to Maine and join me... it's not that far of a drive.

I used to live in Newton.
Oh yeah, haha! Duh. Well, I need my license first (I'm terrified of driving!). It shouldn't take long to get it.. since I already did all teh necessary things, but the road test.

Also, my brother is coming home from Iraq (hoorah!) soon. If he isn't home by then, and I've got my license.. I'll definately come walk with you!
Aw man, your link does the same thing mine does.

Am I super dumb, or what?

I can't get my link to actually.. LINK to my personal site. Le sigh
does this one work?

They have that option to email people, and I entered my own email to check it out.... and at the bottom of the email there was that link. confusing!
Yep! That works. The second one you posted was fine, haha.

Thanks for the help!
That's a really good idea. I live in Canada and have no idea if anything is done here.
Check them out and see if they have such a walk:
I'm broke too but I support you. I wish they were doing something like that here in Colorado. I've been wanting to do something like that for a while in honor of the five people I know that died...
